Replacement Covers

The polythene we supply is a high quality product.  We never cost cut in this area.  Basic data:

Standard Polythene: Long life (5-year UV warranty), high diffusing, UV blocking Greenhouse film. Looks slightly white due to diffuser make-up. Polythene thickness 150mu. Use for general crop growing where the polytunnel will not be heated and a small degree of frost prevention is desirable and reduced summer temperatures are required. All plants with red in their leaves, fruit or flowers also benefit and will have a better colour.

Thermal Anti-Fog Polythene: Long life (5year UV warranty) colourless, high diffusing, anti-dripping (AF), UV blocking Greenhouse film. Polythene thickness 180mu. Particularly effective for bedding plants and nursery stock. Use this polythene in polytunnels that will have internal heating units. The anti fog agent breaks down the surface tension of the condensation droplets so that they run down the sheet, reducing drips and retaining light clarity. The thermal cover is more thermally efficient giving you up to 4°C frost protection.
